STARNET Region V staff provides several forms of assistance to families and professionals living and working with young children birth through age five who are at varied stages and levels of development.
Some of the ways we can help include:
Suggesting helpful materials, books and videos that are available through our Resource Lending Library.
Telephone assistance from one of our Resource Specialists.. Get information on topics of interest to you such as assessment, instructional strategies, learning environments, Special Education Law, and much more--all by phone.
On Site Support--such as classroom observation and feedback with staff, or facilitation of a team problem-solving session--can be tailored to the individual needs of the group of professionals or family members.
A Resource Specialist can facilitate an on site workshop for families and professionals on a topic of interest to your group.
We also provide limited funding to families and early childhood special education classroom staff interested in attending conferences, workshops and other learning opportunities.
